• 42 youths2 Kings 2:24 · forty-two youths

  In the Masoretic text of 2 Kings 2:24, two bears maul forty-two youths. The Hebrew clause is מֵהֶם אַרְבָּעִים וּשְׁנֵי יְלָדִים, of them forty and two youths. The integer is in the verse, not an editorial chapter number.

• 4242-line Bible

  The first substantial European printed book is a 42-line Bible. Early sheets were set at 40 lines, one at 41. The run was then reset to 42 by tightening the space between lines. Memory becoming transmissible form.

• 69426942 days after SpaceX

  Tim Dodd wrote 6942 days after founding SpaceX. That arithmetic starts 6 May 2002 and ends 8 May 2021, SNL night. The company keeps Pi Day, 14 March 2002, as the incorporation birthday. Pi Day to SNL is 6995 days. Two founding dates in the record. Tim’s 6942 is the May clock. The later tape said 69,420 days of age. That is a miss.

  A commercial capsule named Dragon, caught by a robotic arm. The joke and the nodal catalog share a word. They are not one proof. Destiny: soft off.

• 42 ArticlesForty-Two Articles · 1553

  Archbishop Thomas Cranmer drafted the Forty-Two Articles of Religion. The set was published in 1553 under Edward VI. A privy-council mandate of 19 June 1553 required clerical subscription. Under Elizabeth I the confession was reduced to the Thirty-Nine Articles (1563/1571).

• 42 martyrsForty-Two Martyrs of Amorium

  After the Abbasid sack of Amorium, forty-two Byzantine senior officials were held captive. After refusing conversion, they were executed at Samarra on 6 March 845. PmbZ Online #10542 records the cohort. Passiones BHG 1209–1214c and the Synaxarion lock the feast to that count. Distinct from the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste, who are exactly 40.

  The 1215 charter’s forty-second clause lets a man leave and come home by land and water, saving allegiance. Later reissues omit it. Sequential numbering of a famous settlement, not a mystic 42.

  Windsor Castle to the royal box at White City, 1908. Twenty-six miles and 385 yards. IAAF made that the world length in 1921. The integer kilometre is 42. The specification is 42.195.

  Wikipedia files the founding as 21 June 2016. That morning Venus prints 4°20′00″ Cancer at 08:19 UT. That afternoon the Sun prints 0°42′ Cancer at 16:12 UT. Summer solstice. The name is 42 on another face. Three prints. One date.

  SpaceX began trading 12 June 2026. Wikipedia: after the IPO he controls 42% of the shares and 82% of the votes. WION and KeepTrack print the same split. About forty-two in a hundred, not a workshop count of forty-two. The listing is public. The percentage is approximate.

  Tesla Motors was incorporated 1 July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. That morning Mercury prints 4°20′ Cancer at 10:39 UT. Elon Musk led the Series A in February 2004 and later sat as chairman. The sky belongs to the incorporation day. The 2004 round is a different clock.

  Egypt is two lands. Later maps counted twenty-two districts up the Nile and twenty in the Delta. That is forty-two fields. Earlier maps used other numbers. The 42 sat down late.
