Dendera canopic procession: 42 nome-gods carrying the relics of Osiris
At Dendera, forty-two nome-gods walk toward Osiris with his relics. The capitals of the nomes are named as his body.

The Dendera wall does join the later nomes to the body of Osiris. Clement’s forty-two books are a Greek report of a library, not a recovered Egyptian shelf. Cipher on the English word NOMES is later still. One land. Several rooms. One temple walk that actually names the join.

What it supports
A Ptolemaic temple wall. The Procession of the Canopes in the Osireion at Dendera has forty-two deities, each a nome capital, each bearing a relic. Pharaoh says he brings the capitals of the nomes to be the body-parts. Edfu knows the same walk. This is an Egyptian text joining the later 42 nomes to the reconstitution of Osiris. Sylvie Cauville published the chapels. Relic-counts elsewhere run 12, 14, 16, 26, or 42. The 42 is this procession, not every telling of the cut.
What it does not
Not Plutarch’s fourteen parts. That is a Greek lunar reading. Not Spell 125’s forty-two assessors. The wall joins land and body. It does not print the Hall of Two Truths. Jumilhac keeps twelve and fourteen for the Cynopolite country. Variation is the evidence.
Discovery order
Temple wall first. Plutarch’s 14 is another telling. Spell 125 is a third room.
