A 1982 paper measured Psyche’s sidereal day as 4 hours 11 minutes 45.42 seconds, plus or minus a hundredth. Four oppositions. The hundredths can move.

What it supports

Zhou Xing-hai and Yang Xiu-yi, Chinese Astronomy and Astrophysics 6 (1982) 57–59. Direct rotation. Pole given. A genuine published print ending in.42. Distinct from the later ~4.2 hour synodic day on the other card.

What it does not

Not an invariant of the asteroid. Not the same object as ~4.2 h.42 fragments from light-time or Julian dates.
