Recorded
The Book of Job ends at chapter 42. Restoration sits in the last numbered door.

Job has forty-two chapters in the received chaptering. The Lineage files it under Scripture · 42 and 4:20. The last door is restoration, not a cosmic constant.
What it supports
A textual count in printed Bibles. Chapter 42 is where Job answers, and where the friends are rebuked.
What it does not
Not Job’s age. Not 42 as a trial length. Chaptering is a later apparatus, as with Genesis 42.
